Alumni Spotlight: Digital tool aims to make government letters senior-friendly

7 September 2025

RC4 alumni Cham Li Hui and Felicia Hwang were recently featured in The Straits Times for their work with LetterKey, a digital tool that helps seniors read and understand government letters with ease.

Born out of the Sparks x Build for Good Community Hackathon, LetterKey aims to make official government letters more accessible through translation (including dialects), simplifying the language, and highlighting and summarising key information.

Their solutions reflects a strong commitment to human-centred design, inclusivit and accessibility, exemplifying the values of RC4: systems thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and how it can create impacts in real-world problem-solving.

We are proud to celebrate Li Hui and Felicia’s achievements and the meaningful impact they are making, and we extend congratulations to the entire LetterKey team!
