Li Jingping
Dr. Li Jingping is a Senior Lecturer at Residential College 4, NUS. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in economics from Fudan University and her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the National University of Singapore. 2014-2022, she worked at Shandong University as a faculty member to teach and research behavioral economics. She lectured in microeconomics, behavioral economics, and academic writing. She is experienced in supervising master thesis writing and mentoring students who pursue careers in either academics or the marketplace. Dr. Li also worked as a research fellow in the Economics Programme at NTU before she joined RC4.
Her disciplinary research adopts the methodology of behavioral and experimental economics with a special focus on pro-social behavior, charity, gender differences, leadership, and digital economics. She conducts lab experiments and field studies to explore the causal effect between factors that cannot be directly observed from empirical data. Her research outcomes are published in peer-reviewed journals, including Economic Inquiry, Economic Letters, Contemporary Economic Policy, Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics, etc. Details of her research work can be found on her website.
