Cindy Fu Jingcheng
Dr. Cindy Fu is a Lecturer at Residential College 4, NUS. She was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Economics, NUS. She completed her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Nottingham, where she also taught as a teaching fellow for two years. She lectured on quantitative methods, and advised many undergraduates for their dissertation projects. She is enthusiastic about empowering students with research and analytical skills and preparing them for their diverse academic interests and career paths.
Dr. Fu is a behavioral labour economist whose research aims at informing education and labour market policies and helping individuals make better choices. She has worked on peer effects in job search, gender differences in the labour market performance, and the rising education inequality during the pandemic.
