Dr. Nazirudin Mohd Nasir is currently the Mufti of Singapore based at the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). He is also a Member of the Presidential Council for Religious Harmony, which is appointed by the President of Singapore. He has a background in Islamic law and comparative religion, and has spoken at various interfaith events. Dr Nazirudin was educated at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, and the University of Oxford where he received a D.Phil. in Theology and Religion.
