So You Think You Would Like to Start-up?

17th October 2023

On 17 Oct 2023, we were inspired by a panel of RC4 alumni- Lawrence Xiao, Ryan Chong, Danish Lukawski, Lexdan Lim and a special guest Jerrick Tee from Action Community for Entrepreneurship. Our distinguished panel members are all successful founders of various start-ups.

Their candid sharing of their start up journey, their resourcefulness and personal struggles were great inspiring stories for our budding entrepreneur wannabes.

We all walked away still wanting to hear more and excited by their passion in their respective roles.

So you think you wanna start up?

A very insightful experience, providing really cool information on what NUS has to offer for entrepreneurship and what to look out for starting up.

It’s one of the most useful perspectives sessions I’ve attended so far because as student alumni doing start-ups, the speakers share about their invaluable experiences of their start-ups which are useful for us and not too hard for us to relate to, and the information is very pertinent to our future career decisions.

I think that I had some valuable takeaways from this session. One of the best takeaways was willingness to make huge sacrifice and making tough decisions.
