RC4’s 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner
The year 2024 marks a momentous milestone for Residential College 4 (RC4) as it celebrates a decade of fostering community and innovation. The year has been filled with a medley of special events, including the RC4 Symposium and the reintroduction of Parents’ Night, each reflecting the college’s vibrant spirit and rich legacy. To conclude this milestone year on a high note, RC4 hosted the 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 7 December 2024.
Fun and Food Day 2024
RC4 Fun & Food Day 2024: Bridging Generations On 2 November 2024, RC4 residents, students from Queenstown Secondary School (QTSS), and seniors from FaithActs Active Ageing Centre participated in the RC4 Fun & Food Day (FF Day), an event fostering intergenerational bonding organised by four Year 3 students.
RC Horror Nights 2024
Halloween Horror Nights for free? Residential College Horror Nights (RCHN) is the place to be. RC4 residents joined other residents across NUS’ Residential Colleges (RCs) as their nightmares came to life on Nightmare Boulevard. Now in its 5th year, RCHN brings unique haunted houses from each RC, offering all residents the chance to experience Halloween with their friends in their best Halloween costumes.
RC4 Informal Dinner 2024
As Week 10 of the academic year rolled around on 22nd October 2024, RC4 hosted a much-needed, laid-back evening in celebration of Halloween, offering a welcomed break from the drudgery of the semester’s intensity. Titled “ORCA Game,” residents stepped into an extraordinary Squid Game-themed dinner, where attendees dressed as their favourite characters.
Celebrating UTC2704 – High Impact Publications on Energy Systems
Congratulations to Dr. Bellam Sreenivasulu and his students, Loh Jiong Rui and Khoong Wei Kit for their outstanding achievement in publishing their UTC2704 project work in the prestigious Applied Energy journal in 2024. These high-impact publications out this course supervised by RC4 fellow, Dr Bellam Sreenivasulu showcases the academic depth and research innovation coming from systems thinking and system dynamics approaches at Residential College 4 (RC4).
