“Think of two adjectives that describe you” may seem like a simple question. Many of us answer by balancing a strength with an area for growth. At Residential College 4 (RC4)’s Startup Carnival, a student-led showcase of entrepreneurial projects, we met teams whose work embodies two unmistakable qualities: innovation and passion.

Relaxing, upbeat music fills the RC4 dining hall as the sound of chatter and laughter rises above the clinking of cutlery. Lines form at each stall as residents, fresh out of their lectures and tutorials, queue with friends to get their dinner. RC4 resident, Xilu, reflects on how food brings people together in the RC4 community!

Every Inter-House Games has its champions, but few have stories like this year’s. In 2024, Draco finished last overall. In 2025, they rose to the top, writing one of the most remarkable comebacks in RC4 sporting history. Year 1 student, Sarah, recaps on some of the highlights of IHG 2025.
